Exciting New Product Deliveries

Recently OXL delivered precise Bio-Sensor capillary chip-evaluation customer samples. Utilizing OXL's proprietary multi-layer lamination processing capabilities, low-cost, high precision capillary based bio-devices are under evaluation for use in several homeland security applications to be funded by various US government agencies. Under discussion, are the use of OXL's embedded sensors that can easily be incorportated next to the capillary for direct multi-site sensing of capillary content.

October 2003 OXL delivered unique fully connectorized multi-mode polymer waveguide multiplexers using OXL proprietary low loss waveguide structures with embedded filters aimed at aerospace applications.

October 2003 OXL delivered and/or in final assembly processing fully connectorized with MT format hundreds of feet with multiple sections of 18 fiber standard core fiber ribbon , and in addition, 12 fiber ribbons with 200 micron core and 500 micron jacket OD with OXL proprietary custom connectorization but still with MT footprint/style.

May 2003 "14th Annual Workshop on Interconnections Within High Speed Digital Systems " sponsored by IEEE/LEOS in Santa Fe, NM. Presented invited paper "Polymer Waveguides as Optical Interconnect Technology" The paper reviewed polymer waveguide and interconnection technology using delivered product prototypes as examples where possible demonstrating OXL's unique technology for board and chip interconnectivity using polymer guides and custom fiber ribbon based systems.
